Program Updates ~ Book I only
Version 1.06 now available (10 April 2006)
NOTES:
1) We also have a separate update of the Introduction movie for Stage 8 (what is involved and do I need it?).
2) If you are having problems with Intel Macs on a network there is a simple fix here.
Update your copy to version 1.06 (from 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 or 1.04) for the following:
| Allows teachers to delete playlists - both local and online. Teachers who have forgotten their online ID can enter their email address to have it sent to them. Future update alerts will show their version number (and date posted). When we have important news about the program (eg Book II being available, new ways of using the program, etc.) a message will appear automatically when you log in as a teacher. Corrects error in text display for "Plural Nouns" in Stage 5, Session 3, Topic 2. |
...which also includes all previous fixes.
| Instructions |
| 1 | The update is a single compressed file. Click the appropriate link for your computer in the box below. This will download that file to your computer. |
| 2 | Quit the E-Learning Resource program (eCLC) if it is currently running. |
| 3 | Decompress the downloaded file (this is done for you on most computers). It should contain a folder called eCLC_update. |
| 4 | Locate your CLC E-Learning Resource folder. Unless you specified otherwise, on a Windows system it's in your main Program Files folder, on a Macintosh it's in your Applications folder. |
| 5 | Drag the eCLC_update folder into your CLC E-Learning Resource folder (so that it sits alongside "Content", "Xtras" and the "eCLC" application). Let it replace any previous eCLC_update folder. |
| 6 | Now open the eCLC_update folder and double-click the eCLC_updaterprogram. [NOTE: Windows users ~ fuller instructions with diagrams here. |
Click the appropriate link for your computer system to download update 1.06:
| Platform | Zipped file | Size of file | Date posted |
| Windows | eCLC_updater_win_1_06b.zip | 4.2 MB | 10 April 2006 |
| Macintosh | 4.3 MB | 10 April 2006 |
Mac users: If the download doesn't decompress into a folder called "eCLC_update" you may need the free Stuffit Expander.
