| Updating the "Introduction" movie for Stage 8
Do I need to do this?
The Stage 8 Introduction movie as supplied on the DVD contains redundant footage.
After completing its run of 1 minute 37 seconds it goes on to show footage from a different movie. This should not cause any major problems as the movie can just be closed after 1'37".
However if you would like to replace it with the correct length version follow the instructions below. Bear in mind the replacement file is over 8MB.
How to update the movie file

When it has downloaded and decompressed you need to find your "CLC E-Learning Resource" folder. On a Windows machine it's probably in your main "Program Files" folder, on a Mac it's probably in your "Applications" folder.
Drag the "l_08010.mpg" file to the "mpgs" folder at the following location:
CLC E-Learning Resource > Content > mpgs
replacing the old file with the same name. |
